The Game’s Main Features
Given that this game encompasses a lot of different elements, how do they function? Stages are laid out in a linear fashion where players have the option of changing among several characters within a stage. Jedi characters have abilities such as a double jump to help with platforming along with a lightsaber for melee combat.
They also can use the force to pull pieces together for building purposes. Other characters such as droid or mercenaries can open context-sensitive doors and are armed with blasters for ranged fighting.

- Pro – Large Roster: The sheer amount of playable characters in this game is astounding. With the inclusion of fan favorites such as Boba Fett and even Jar Jar for comedic relief, you’re sure to find someone who clicks with your playstyle.
- Pro – Accessibility: Not only are the gameplay mechanics easy to pick up and play. The humor manages to make even serious moments from the film that was much more engaging for a younger audience.
- Con – Characters Feel Homogenized: Not all characters in the game are created equal sadly, and some of them simply feel too similar to others. This is evidenced by the fact that there can be over 4+ variations of a single character, with the only difference being their costume.
- Con – Backtracking For Collectibles: This one can be a bit of a mixed bag as the stages do incentivize grabbing many optional collectibles. That said, to fully complete the game, you’ll need to do a lot of footwork to collect some of these items.
